FCGC Hosts Annual NEWA Fair Shoot
The Fort Colville Gun recently received a funding award from the NRA Foundation to help buy a Battue-style target thrower for their 5-stand sporting clays course. Sporting clays is the closest thing to actual field shooting of all shotgun sports. A free course that satisfies the safety training requirements to purchase a firearm in Washington state, as of January 1, 2024 is offered by Sporting Systems. The course can be completed in about ½ hour and upon completion you can print out a certificate.
